For the past few years, Chris Pratt has been one of the most bankable mainstream stars in Hollywood. He’s starred in blockbuster after blockbuster in movies where he’s the lead, a voice actor, as well as in projects featuring an ensemble cast. Some of his biggest recent superhits have included movies like Jurassic World Dominion, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and The Garfield Movie.

Pratt has been a star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the longest time, featuring in movies like the last two movies of the Avengers trilogy, the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, and Thor: Love and Thunder. Chris Pratt’s Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy was directed by James Gunn, who now is the head of the DCU alongside Peter Safran. Naturally, Chris Pratt was recently asked if he’ll consider jumping to the DCU during an interview with TMZ.

Answering the same, Pratt said, “Yes, of course. If it could fit into my schedule and it made sense, I would love it. Of course, I love playing Star-Lord, and hopefully there’s a chance that I can come back. I just feel so blessed to be able to do any of it, to be considered for any of it. If it’s right and the fans would love it, I’d be more than happy to do it.”

Noticeably, earlier this month, Chris Pratt visited the sets of James Gunn’s directorial Superman. Gunn shared their picture on social media and wrote, “Always nice to have friends visiting the set.” In the interview, Pratt further said “there’s always a chance” about him making the franchise leap.

When asked which character he would like to play, Pratt said, “I just have to leave that to the fans and people like James to decide. I’m not exactly sure. I’m truly not sure.”

For those who don’t know, DCU’s Superman is set to release in July 2025 and stars David Corenswet as the iconic superhero. James Gunn’s Superman also stars Nicholas Hoult, Anthony Carrigan, Isabela Merced, and Nathan Fillion.
