Kusha Kapila Reveals She Restricted ‘Samay Raina’ On Instagram After YouTube Roast: ‘Not My First Rodeo’

By admin Jul2,2024

Recently, about three weeks ago, on the seventh episode of The Pretty Good Roast Show, which streams on YouTube, Kusha Kapila was the guest. The episode featuring Kusha Kapila, which has now garnered over 11 million views, is the second most watched episode of The Pretty Good Roast Show.

Kusha Kapila’s episode gained a lot of traction due to the various jokes made by comedian Samay Raina who targeted the influencer turned actor’s personal life, former marriage, divorce, sex life, and other sensitive topics. Many followers of Kusha were wondering how she dealt with the ‘brutal roast,’ and she herself recently answered the question on her official Instagram stories.

When a fan asked, “How did you manage to handle the brutal roast? Especially Samay (Raina),” Kusha answered by writing, “Not my first time at the rodeo. In the large scheme of things, nothing matters. Probably when I have processed all of it, I will speak about it on a level-headed podcast (lol do we have any) or maybe never. We will see. This profile continues to be a safe space for my female and queer followers.”

Kusha Kapila’s response sparked further discussion on Reddit, with many debating whether she took the roast well. While some believe Samay Raina crossed the line multiple times, others noted that she seemed fine during the show, which she willingly participated in, suggesting they are probably friends.

For those who don’t know, Kusha Kapila and her ex husband, Zorawar Ahluwalia, who got married in 2017 after dating for a few years, announced their separation in June, 2023.

Taking to Instagram, Kusha Kapila had said, “Zorawar and I have mutually decided to part ways. This hasn’t been an easy decision by any measure, but we know it’s the right one at this point in our lives. The love and life we have shared together continue to mean everything for us, but sadly, what we seek currently for ourselves doesn’t align. We gave it our all until we couldn’t anymore.”
