The movie Vedaa has hit the theaters and is doing fairly well. The cast is seen everywhere promoting the film. In their recent appearance on the TV show Aapka Apna Zakir, John Abraham, Sharvari Wagh, and Abhishek Banerjee – and director Nikkhil Advani shared interesting stories about their lives and looked back at industry moments.
While delving back on anecdotes, John Abraham shared an interesting fact about Shah Rukh Khan. After their movie Pathan did very well, SRK gifted John a motorcycle. John further revealed that SRK also invited him to celebrate together because their movie was topping the box office. While sharing the incident, the actor said, “Mujhe yaad hai film ke baad ek party rakha gaya tha aur mai bahot jaldi sota hu. Shah Rukh ne kaha, come on John lets party. Maine bola nahi mujhe sona hai. Unhone bola kya chaiye tumhe, maine bola ek motorcycle dedo please. Toh unhone mujhe ek motorcycle dii. Mai khush hoke ghar gaya. (I remember a party was held after the film, but I sleep quite early. Shah Rukh asked me to party, but I told him I wanted to sleep. He asked me what I wanted, and I asked him to give me a motorcycle. He gave me a bike. I was very happy and returned home).”
In the movie Pathan, John Abraham played the villainous character Jim and received praise for his performance. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film was the second highest grossing film of 2023.
Currently, John Abhraham is seen in the recent release Vedaa. Meanwhile Shah Rukh Khan will share screen with his daughter Suhanna Khan in the upcoming project.
