Alia Bhatt recently attended the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Video of the her red carpet walk are going viral on social media. She also interacted with media and fans at the closing ceremony of the event. The actress also talked about her acting, shared insights into her films and talked about working with SRK who has a huge following in Saudi Arabia.
While talking about working with SRK, she revealed that on the first day of filming she froze and had to be reminded of how she is an actor. Alia and Shah Rukh Khan first shared screen space in Dear Zindagi, directedby Gauri Shinde. The film recieved much love from fans and saw the two play roles of a therapist and his client.
Alia revealed that Shah Rukh really likes to rehearse and the two met before they went to set. She added, “So the day before we sat and we spoke about the scene various times. Suhana was there, I remember. She was taking notes, she was being very diligent in a way.” She also recalled SRK’s son AbRam being in the room playing around, “We spoke about the scene and I was still going in and out in the days and was trying to be all cool and normal.”

However, on set she couldn’t believe she was filming with the actor. She was quoted saying, “As we went on sets (Dear Zindagi), and we were doing the first shot together, I think I froze. My mind went completely blank because I couldn’t believe it.”
She added that the director of the film had to step in and help Alia. “And then Gauri (Shinde) had to come and whisper in my ears, ‘You have to forget The Shah Rukh Khan’, and I was like, ‘Okay.’ Actually, my character had to give him attitude and I was like, ‘How to do this’.” the actress concluded.
