Just a few days ago, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra took to their official social media handle to cutely announce their pregnancy. Having tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in February 2023, they left their fans excited with the news. However, it also left many wondering how the actress plans on fulfilling her professional commitments. Especially after Don 3 filmmaker Farhan Akhtar revealed that he will start shooting for the film this year.
For those who don’t know, apart from being a part of Don 3, Kiara is currently working in Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer War 2 and Yash’s Toxic. If media reports are to be believed, she had already wrapped shooting for the latter. Since the Ranveer Singh starrer is yet to go on floors, it is being speculated that she may opt out of the film, to focus on her first pregnancy.

Quoting a Pinkvilla report, the Free Press Journal stated that Advani has decided to prioritise her personal life over the film. The report adds that the makers of the film have already started looking for a new female lead, after making a mutual decision with the actress. It is to be noted that both the parties are yet to officially confirm the news.
Adding to the ongoing speculation, rumour mills have been abuzz with reports that the 33-year-old actress might also be a part of Maddock’s Shakti Shalini and YRF’s Dhoom 4, both the films are slated to go on the floors in 2026. Fans have been waiting for Kiara to provide an update on her upcoming projects.
