Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 is one of the biggest box office releases of the year. The film has made a major impact for the industry and is being praised by other filmmakers as well. It has already been confirmed a third instalment and fans have begun the speculation for casting and story. Rajkummar’s wife Patralekhaa was asked recently if she would like to be part of the franchise, she declined.
Stree 2 is the sequel to the hit 2018 release of the same name. The film follows Rajkummar’s Vicky, a talented and infamous tailor in town who gets deemed as the town’s saviour when he manages to escape the horror that took over the town for decades. In the sequel, he once again has to set out to take down the real villain who was hidden in the town’s sinister history.
Coming back to Patralekhaa, the actress told Filmygyan that she would not consider working in Stree 3 opposite her husband. She added that the franchise is already at its best and said, “No, Shraddha hai. Unki jodi bahut mast hai. Abhishek hai, Apar hai, Pankaj, wo world set hai.” (No, Shraddha is there; Their pairing is amazing. Abhishek is there, Aparshakti is there, Pankaj, that world is set)

On the other hand, Patralekhaa recently appeared in the Netflix limited series IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack. Her performance of air hostess Indrani is being praised widely by fans and critics. The series directed by Anubhav Sinha has remained controversial but also praised for its work. It also stars Vijay Varma, Dia Mirza, Naseeruddin Shah, Kumud Mishra, Pankaj Kapur, Pooja Gor, Amrita Puri, and others.
