Aamir Khan is all set to make a comeback on the big screens, after three years, with Sitaare Zameen Par. While fans are excited to watch the actor spread his magic on the big screen, a few media reports suggested that the film faced an issue with the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC). Well, it seems like the makers of the film have handled the issue and managed to get the CBFC certificate, so that they can start advance booking for the film.
According to a recent report by the Free Press Journal, the CBFC had asked the makers to make two cuts in Sitaare Zameen Par, however, Khan was not ready to accept them. The report added that the actor would meet with the CBFC Examining Committee on Monday to sort out the issue.

Now, quoting a report by Bollywood Hungama, the media publication stated that makers have shared an update on the entire fiasco. The report mentions that Sitaare Zameen Par has been cleared by the CBFC. It is to be noted that how the issue was solved has not been revealed yet. Did the 60-year-old actor agree to the cuts, did CBFC agree to pass the film without any cuts, or did they come to a compromise?
Now that the film has been cleared by CBFC, the makers can start advance booking of the film. Media reports suggest that Sitarre Zameen Par is expected to have a decent start at the box office and might grow due to word of mouth. According to the Free Press Journal, Sitaare Zameen Par will be released in around 3000 screens.
