Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala attended the trailer launch of Housefull 5 along with the star cast, on Tuesday. As the trailer is getting a positive response from the netizens, he made an announcement that has created a stir online. During his interaction with the media, he revealed that for the first time in Indian cinema a film with multiple endings will be released on the big screens for the audiences to enjoy. Yes, you read that right!
Housefull 5 will have multiple climaxes in every different theatre one will go to watch. While opening up about the same he spoke about the X factor of the comedy caper. Quoted by the Free Press Journal, he told the media, “I have been thinking about this for the last 30 years, that if I make a thriller, what would be the X factor? How would people leave the theatre? So I have written a story wherein every theatre will have a different killer. If you watch Housefull 5 in Gaiety, you will see one killer, and in Galaxy, you’ll see another killer. In Screen 4, you’ll have one killer and in Screen 5 another killer.”

During the press conference, the 59-year-old filmmaker added that every time the audience will watch the film, they will have a different killer. “And this is happening for the first time in the world,” he added. Supporting the producer, actor Fardeen Khan explained that even the cast was told about it after the entire movie was shot. Nadiadwala went on to point out that half of the cast and crew doesn’t know who the killer in the film is.

A comedy of errors, the plot of Housefull 5 erupts into chaos after a murder takes place on a cruise. The film is said to be one of the big-budget films shot on a luxurious cruise. It journeys from London to France, to Spain and back to the UK.

The film stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek A Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, who has also written the story and the screenplay of the film. The movie is scheduled for a release on June 6, 2025.
